Northampton County Native, Bethlehem Tech School Graduate Jake Fink Dies Suddenly At 27

Fink graduated from Freedom High School and Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School before attending Northampton Community College, his obituary says.

Fink was known for his wide range of hobbies and interests, including spending time outdoors, photography, cooking and music, his memorial says.

Fink also loved sports and had experience swimming at Northwest Swim Club, playing baseball at Northeast Little League and playing football with the Bethlehem Steelers. 

Fink had most recently worked at Saucon Valley Country Club, where he helped to maintain golf courses.

Fink is survived by his parents, Diane and Leo Fink; brother, Cody Fink; sister, Elaine Fink; grandparents, Robert E. Janke and Shirley Richard, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.

Fink’s celebration of life will be held Sept. 11 at his parents’ home.

Donations can be made in Fink’s memory to the Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School Bridges Foundation Inc. (3300 Chester Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18020).

“He will be truly missed by the many persons who loved him dearly,” Fink’s memorial says.
